As a mother, I want my babies to know that not every kid gets to skip rocks into glacier-fed waters or call bald eagles, humpbacks, and bears ‘normal!’
Raising them in Alaska means teaching them to love the land and to slow down and appreciate the beauty that’s right in tront of them every single day. They live in a place that’s on peoples “bucket list”. Alaska isn’t always easy but it’s so worth it.
And I hope they never forget about the magic they live in.
